A brake disc is a part of braking system that uses calipers to squash pair of brake pads against a disc. Friction generated slow down the rotation of wheels and as a result, slow down the entire car. BMW brake discs should be replaced as soon as they are worned out below minimum, recommmended thickness, scored or warped. Always replace brake discs and brake pads in pairs.
